This is an extremely crucial fact: there can only be one truth.

For the world apart from Christ, this one truth can only be found in Him. This is the first and single-most important thing an unbelieving soul has to experience before anything else can be recognized: The salvation of Jesus Christ will open our eyes to the realities of this life.

For the world in Christ, there also can only be one truth, one doctrine, one God, one church. Those who prefer to stick to their church’s ideologies and culture are ultimately deciding against God and therefor are not interested the truth.

Any disciple of Christ should automatically be a seeker of the Truth and not worshiper of doctrines, theologies, or follower of Christian leaders.

“Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.”  Act 17:11 (NASB)

Ultimately, when we are always concerned about finding the truth, in that we should eventually see the Truth Himself, face to face.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.  Mat 7:7-8 (NASB)
