Last Thursday, I had to bring my wife to the hospital. Nothing serious, they supposed, although she was in much pain. The pain continued on and off until yesterday afternoon, where we called a doctor to ask for his opinion. Based on our conversation, he told us to go to a doctor soonest. That afternoon, all doctors offices were closed, because they’re all off in Germany every Wednesday according to my cousin. I believe it was God holding off, what He could do better than any doctor.
Although, I had laid hands and prayed for her myself, it wouldn’t get much better. It seems there are times, when you need more than one person to pray.
““Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.””
Mat 18:19-20 (NASB)
I asked for our online prayer family to pray for my wife. Additionally, after my aunt’s Bible study, the whole group prayed and laid hands on her. After a few hours, most of the pain left and today only some headache from her colds, but the other pain was gone.
This was most important for us as a family on a mission not only for the sake of my wife’s well-being, but also for the continuation of the mission. Had she not gotten better, we would need to temporarily pause the mission and let her recover. Now, we’re already on our next stop in Bavaria, Germany.
God is doubly good!
